Terms of Service

1. Who we are

2. Who can use this service

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract. The registration itself is for graduates who need NERD clearance; whether you qualify for clearance is NERD’s decision, not ours.

3. Your account

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email, or with Google or Apple. Keep access to that email secure. Anyone who can read it can reach your account and the applications in it.

Tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into your account.

4. Registering for someone else

You may register other people, and one account can hold several applications. If you do, you confirm that you have that person’s permission to give us their personal details and documents, including their NIN, and to act for them in dealing with us.

You are responsible for the accuracy of everything you submit for them, and for passing on anything we send you about their application.

We deal with whoever paid. The clearance slip goes to the person who paid for the registration, and any refund goes back to them by the route the payment came in. If you paid for someone else, it reaches them through you.

5. What you must give us

Everything you submit must be accurate, complete, and genuinely yours or the applicant’s. Do not send us documents that are altered, forged, or belong to someone else, and do not impersonate anyone.

Keep an eye on the email address on the application. A correction, a missing page, your clearance slip: almost everything we need from you arrives that way.

6. What we promise, and what we don’t

We promise to check your submission properly, to send it to NERD through an accredited centre, to tell you when something needs fixing, and to pass on your clearance slip as soon as we have it.

We do not promise that NERD will approve your registration, and we do not promise a delivery date. Where we quote a turnaround, such as 24 to 48 hours, that is what we typically see, not a guarantee. NERD sets its own pace, its own requirements, and its own outcomes, and it can change any of them without telling us in advance.

7. Price and payment

The price is the one shown to you before you pay. You pay a deposit, which unlocks the full application form and counts toward the total, and the balance before your application is submitted.

Once you have paid anything, your price is fixed. If our prices change afterwards, or if NERD changes its own fees while your application is in progress, your total does not move. We absorb the difference.

Payment is handled by a payment provider. The one processing your payment is named on the payment screen and on your receipt. We never see your card or bank details.

8. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: the deposit is not returned if you abandon your application, and everything is returned if we cannot deliver or you were charged in error.

9. When we can cancel or suspend

We may cancel an application or suspend an account if the information or documents given to us are false or altered, if someone is registered without their permission, if the service is being misused, or if a payment is reversed or disputed without cause.

Where we cancel for one of those reasons, the Refund Policy decides what, if anything, is returned.

10. Using the site properly

Do not try to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to this site, and do not use it to submit anything unlawful. The site itself, its design and its content belong to us.

11. Your project work stays yours

Uploading your project does not give us any ownership of it. We use it only to make your NERD submission. What happens to it inside the national repository is governed by NERD’s rules, not ours.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, and who it goes to. Registering with us means your information is sent to NERD. That is the service, and it cannot be done without it.

13. Our responsibility to you

If we get something wrong, we will put it right where we can, and refund you where the Refund Policy says so.

Beyond that, the most we can be held liable for in connection with an application is the amount paid for that application. We are not responsible for losses caused by NERD’s own decisions, requirements or timelines, which we do not control, or for losses caused by inaccurate or false information given to us.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited under Nigerian law, including your rights under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will tell you about significant changes by email. The price and refund position on an application you have already paid for do not change.

15. If something goes wrong

Talk to us first at info@corperland.ng. Most problems are quicker to fix directly. If we cannot resolve it, you can take the matter to the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.

These terms are governed by Nigerian law, and the Nigerian courts have jurisdiction.
